There is something magical about making something with your own hands … especially if it is to give to someone else.
Children love to make gifts for others at Christmas, or to help make the season brighter. I remember as a young girl that I loved to get some colored paper, markers, glue, glitter and stickers and create my own cards to give out. Looking back I realize they weren’t even folded symmetrically and they were usually a little soggy with glue, but I thought they were perfection!
Here are some ideas for making Christmas crafts with grandchildren for the Christmas holidays.
Together you can have your own Santa’s workshop … it would be a fun idea to make a sign to hang on the wall where you are working together that actually says:
So get out your own colored paper, markers, glue, glitter and stickers (and whatever other supplies are needed) and let your grandchild create their own bit of perfection!
