The Grandma Behind the Blog

The Grandma Behind the Blog

Welcome! My name is Melonee, and I am definitely a gung ho grandma... gung ho meaning, "extremely excited, enthusiastic, and dedicated about doing something." I love being a "Grammie" to my grandbabies, and I have spent the last 17 years as a teacher. I honestly believe that grandmas (and of course, grandpas) can help build stronger families, and help their grandchildren grow to be happy, wise, caring people ... and that just promotes a healthier society. This blog is for all the other gung ho grandmas out there who want to explore ways to enrich the lives of their grandchildren. How do you help your grandchild grow up happier, kinder, smarter, self-confident, and a better citizen of the world? How do we develop better relationships with our grandkids and create happy memories together? That is what this blog will help us explore together!
